Farmers Branch, TX – The Lady Westerners hit the road Tuesday afternoon to face Dallas College Brookhaven. Mia Sanchez put WTC on the board in the 72nd minute, scoring unassisted for the team's lone goal.
The Westerners created chances throughout the match with shots from Rosa Emma Ortega, Kaitlyn Lucy Crouch, Dylana Quezada, Emma Garcia, and Emilia Alvarez. Both Sanchez and Crouch forced saves to keep pressure on Brookhaven.
WTC came up short in the final score but showed a strong offensive push on the road.
