Lady Westerners Volleyball Announces 2026 Schedule
Snyder, TX- Western Texas College Volleyball has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring four tournaments and a full Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) slate.
The Lady Westerners will open the season at home, hosting the WTC Fall Classic on August 21-22 at the WTC Coliseum. Western Texas College begins the tournament on Aug 21 against Otero College at noon, then takes on Blinn College at 6:00 pm. On Aug 22, the Lady Westerners will face Temple College at 10 am before closing the tournament against Dallas College Cedar Valley at 4 pm.
The first road trip of the season will be on Aug 28-29, traveling to Gainesville, TX, for the NCTC Tournament. The Lady Westemers will take on McCook Community College at 1 pm and will play North Central Texas College at 4 pm on Aug 28. The tournament concludes on Aug 29 with matches against Wharton County Junior College at 10 am and Dallas College Brookhaven at 1 pm.
Entering September with another tournament appearance, the Lady Westerners will head to Brenham, TX, for the Blinn Tournament on Sept 4-5. Western Texas opens play against McLennan Community College at 9 am before facing Wharton County Junior College at 1 pm on Sept 4. The tournament wraps up on Sep 5th against Dallas College Eastfield at 11 a.m. and Blinn College at 3 pm.
Capping off the non-conference road games on September 11th-12 in Amarillo, TX. On Sept 11, the Lady Westerners will face Trinidad State College at 1 pm, followed by Navarro College at 6 pm. The tournament concludes Sept. 12 with matches against Blinn College at 9 am and McCook Community College at 11 am.
Western Texas College opens WJCAC play at home on Sept 16, hosting Midland College at 6 p. m. The Lady Westerners remain at home to face Frank Phillips College on Saturday, Sept 19, before traveling to Hobbs, NM to take on New Mexico Junior College on Sept 23 at 6 pm MDT. They return home on Saturday, Sept 26, to host New Mexico Military Institute at 2 pm before wrapping up the month on the road at Odessa College on Sept 30 at 6 pm.
October features the remainder of the conference schedule. The Lady Westerners open the month by hosting Clarendon College on Saturday, Oct 3, at 2 pm and Amarillo College on Wednesday, Oct 7, at 6 pm. Road Contest follows against Midland College on Saturday, Oct 10, at 2 pm and Frank Phillips College on Wednesday, Oct 14, at 6 pm.
Western Texas returns home to host New Mexico Junior College on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 2 pm before traveling to New Mexico Military Institute on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 7 pm CDT. The Lady Westerners will celebrate their final home match of the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 24, against Odessa College at 2 pm.
The regular season concludes with road matches at Clarendon College on Wednesday at 6 pm, Oct. 28 at 6 pm, and Amarillo College on Saturday at 2 pm.
