Snyder, TX- Set two would be the only set the Lady Westerners claimed in last night's 3-1 loss to the New Mexico Junior College Thunderbirds.
Aubrie Frazier led the charge with 11 kills and a .429 hitting percentage, marking her first double-digit kill match of the season. Asli Cam also delivered a strong performance, finishing with nine kills and a .316 hitting percentage—her third time this year hitting .300 or better. Savannah Thompson added a .294 hitting percentage, while Maja Ludga chipped in with a .286.
The Lady Westerners started strong, hitting a match-high .346 in the opening set and .320 in the second. As a team, they recorded a season-best .255 hitting percentage, topped 40 kills for the third time this year with 41 total, and matched that effort with 41 assists—their third such performance of the season.
