Amponsah To Compete At Olympics

World Athletics Governing body, the IAAF, has confirmed Ghanaian sprint queen and former Westerner Janet Amponsah's qualification to the Rio 2016 Olympics.
After achieving the Olympic qualifying standard in the women's 200m with a blistering personal best of 22.99s at the Soga-Nana Memorial meet at the Cape Coast stadium last Friday.
Janet also anchors the Ghanaian 4 x 100 relay that's qualified for this summer's Olympics.
