CLEBURNE, TX – Western Texas College Men's and Women's Soccer teams traveled to Cleburne, Texas for the Region V Soccer Championships, which took place on October 23 and 24 at The Depot.
WTC Women entered play as the #2 seed with a 3-3 record in conference play. The Lady Westerners would go on to defeat Cisco College by a final of 2-0, with both goals scored by Brianna Guerrero and assists from Montserratt Alsina and Maria Aranda. In the Region V Championship Game, WTC would fall to Hill College by a score of 3-1, with an 89th minute goal from Montserratt Alsina and assisted by Kylee Friedland. The Lady Westerners finish as runner-up in Region V.
