Lady Westerners Climb to 10th After Day Two at NJCAA National Championship
Coal Valley - IL Day Two at the NJCAA D1 Women's National Championship, the Lady Westerners did move up to 10th place with a stroke score of 326 (+42). The Team teed off at 8:00 am this morning on hole one.
Wildah Jarestam moved up to tied for 9th place, carding a 75 (+4). Jarestam finished the day with three birdies. Jarestam did finish the front nine +1 Par. She carried that momentum into the back nine before back to back bogeys on holes 15 and 16, followed by a double bogey on the final hole.
Brooke Ahn is tied for 45th place at +12 after shooting an 83 in round two. Ahn added one birdie during her round.
Lupita Barbosa sits in 60th place at +18 after finishing with an 89. Barbosa showed improvement on the front nine, carding a +3 after posting a +11 on the front side during Monday's opening round.
Khensani Mhotsha is currently in 69th place at +19 following a round of 90.
Caitlin Feeney entered the lineup as a substitute on Tuesday and finished with a solid 79(+8) with two birdies.
