Softball Announces 2026 Season Schedule
Snyder, TX — The Western Texas College softball program has officially announced its schedule for the 2026 season, featuring a competitive slate of nonconference matchups, tournaments, and WJCAC conference play stretching from January through May.
The Lady Westerners open the season in late January with early tournament action, beginning Friday, January 23, at the CBC Round Robin. WTC will face Coastal Bend College later that evening at Joe Gulley Park before continuing tournament play throughout the weekend.
Western Texas College will play its first home games at United Field in Snyder on Friday, January 30, hosting doubleheaders against Coastal Bend College, followed by Paris Junior College on Saturday, January 31. The home stand continues into February as the Lady Westerners welcome Luna Community College.
February features a mix of home and road contests, including trips to Murray State College, Weatherford College, Temple College, and Ranger College. Highlighted home matchups include games against Ranger,San Jacinto College–South and Hill College at United Field.
The schedule transitions into March with continued nonconference play before the start of WJCAC conference competition later in the month. Conference play begins March 27–28 with a home-and-away series against Midland College.
April marks the heart of conference action, with Western Texas College hosting Frank Phillips College, Odessa College, and Howard College at United Field. The Lady Westerners will also travel to El Paso Community College,Odessa and Big Spring.
The regular season concludes in early May with a four-game road series against Clarendon College on May 1–2.
