DODGE CITY, Kan. — 1-1 in the 29th minute on a goal by Johnny Cuellar, his third of the season, with assists from Christian Georgiand Everardo Diaz de Leon, but the Conquistadors regained the lead in the 59th minute and held on to take the match from Western Texas College, 2-1.
Plenty of offense with 17 total shots, led by Cuellar and Georgi with four apiece. Western Texas also earned five corners. Defensively, the Westerners collected five saves.
