Freeman’s Hole-in-One Highlights Westerners at Region 5

Kingsland, TX — The Western Texas College men's golf team wrapped up play at the NJCAA Region 5 Championship on Tuesday.

The Westerners finished eighth overall at Legends Golf Course with a three-round total of 905 (+41).

Western Texas placed two golfers inside the top 30, as Jiri Kinnunen and George Edwards each shot a 224 (+8) for the tournament.

Oscar Freeman chipped a hole in one on a 198-yard par 3, marking the team's first of the season. Gustav Holmberg recorded an eagle on a 543-yard par 5—his second eagle of the year.
