Men’s Golf Ranked No. 9 in Latest NJCAA DI Coaches Poll
NORMAN, Okla. – Midland College continues its hold on the nation's top spot, earning the No. 1 ranking for the ninth consecutive Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA DI Coaches Poll released September 19. The Chaparrals secured six first-place votes and 95 points after claiming the Andrews Collegiate Am title on September 7 and finishing runner-up at the Waco River Classic on September 16.
McLennan surged into the No. 2 position with three first-place votes, while Hutchinson, Indian Hills (one first-place vote), and Odessa rounded out the top five. Weatherford entered the rankings at No. 6 after receiving votes in the previous poll, followed by Tyler, Central Alabama, Western Texas, and New Mexico JC.
Six additional programs received votes, including Eastern Florida State, Dodge City, Iowa Western, Garden City, Blinn, and Jefferson State.
