Men’s Golf Ranked No. 8 in Preseason Coaches Poll

Norman, Okla. – Western Texas College men's golf will open the 2025-26 season ranked No. 8 in the Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll, announced Thursday, August 29.
Defending national champion Midland, coming off five tournament victories and three PING All-Americans last season, earned all 10 first-place votes to secure the top spot for the eighth straight poll.
Hutchinson, Indian Hills, Odessa, and New Mexico JC completed the top five, while McLennan, Central Alabama, Western Texas, Tyler, and Eastern Florida State rounded out the top 10.
Garden City, Dodge City, Blinn, and Weatherford also received votes.
