Jefferies Named Player Of The Week

Region V has announced the Men's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 19-25.
The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Zarious Wilson of McLennan Community College. The 6-0 freshman guard from Waco, TX scored 36 points last week with 5 assists and 3 steals. He scored 17 points in the Highlanders' win over Collin and 19 points in a road win at Temple to secure the conference championship for MCC.
The Western Junior College Athletic Conference is DaQuan Jeffries of Western Texas College. The 6-5 sophomore forward from Edmond, OK had 29 points and 19 rebounds last week. He had a double-double at Odessa with 21 points and 12 rebounds and was perfect from the free throw line.
