Men’s Soccer Welcomes Alex Meny as New Assistant Coach
Snyder-TX - Western Texas College is excited to announce the addition of Alex Meny as the new Assistant Coach for the Men's Soccer program, beginning in July 2025.
Meny joins WTC from Manhattanville College (NY), where he served as an assistant coach for the men's soccer team. He brings a wealth of experience both on and off the field, with a strong background in collegiate coaching, club development, and player recruitment.
A former player in the NPSL and UPSL, Meny competed with FC Copa (2017–2018) and later captained FSA Pro (2020–2021), showcasing leadership and a deep understanding of the game.
In addition to his collegiate coaching role, Meny has served as Director of Coaching at Hudson Valley Athletic Club, overseeing club growth, player scouting, and curriculum implementation. He also held the role of Interim Director of Coaching at Fox Soccer Academy, managing team development and operations.
Meny has coached across various age levels, including U9 and U14 teams at The Liverpool Academy, and worked as a Goalkeeper Coach. Through S.A.C.C., he also provided futsal instruction and supported other youth clubs. His coaching journey began at Premier German Soccer as a recreation director and youth coach.
He holds multiple certifications, including UEFA B, TOVO T1, NSCAA 11v11, NSCAA GK Levels 1 and 2, A Elite Youth, and additional USSF licenses.
Meny earned his master's degree in Education from Manhattanville College in 2025 and currently resides in Purchase, New York.
